Blog Post 7: Strunk and White, first impressions

This prompt asks you to reflect on the usefulness of Strunk and White’s Elements of Style for you as a student and as a writer. Write a short (300-500 words or so) blog entry that:

• discusses one or two of the “elements” in Strunk and White you found particularly helpful as you think about your own writing; and
• discusses one or two of the “elements” in Strunk and White you found dated, unhelpful, and/or generally wrong, at least as you think about your own writing.

Be sure to quote and paraphrase Strunk and White as appropriate.
